Dear AmorePacific Employees,
Our company has been making various efforts such as ethical management, establishing internal control system, improving the governing structure, and more in order to establish a clear and fair corporate culture according to the global standard.
In retrospect, we had experienced many trials and errors in the early phase,
but the Fair Trading Voluntary Compliance program have been showing several meaningful achievements by operating in cooperation with the businesses in the corresponding sectors. As a result, it seems like it has now entered into a maturity phase by passing the introduction phase. I thank the efforts of executives and staff members for the last two years, and I would like to ask for your attention to the followings for this new year:

First, the corporate's competitiveness must be done through fair competition.

Secondly, a climate for Fair Trading Voluntary Compliance has to be further extended.

There will be cases where it is not clear whether one has obeyed the Fair Trading Act because of the lack of understanding about a fair competition when working in the field. Please make more efforts so that the climate of Fair Trading Voluntary Compliance can be further extended throughout the company by referring to the Voluntary Compliance Handbook or go through a pre-consultation with the fair trading department when you have any doubt in violating laws while working.

Thirdly, let's actively participate to the fair trading education offered by the company.

Our company has conducted a special training program by inviting a fair trading specialist several times other than the regular online education program ever since we have introduced the CP. We are going to continuously conduct any related education so that executives and staff members can understand the purpose and contents of the Fair Trading Act more clearly, thus we can expect everyone's active participation.

Fourthly, through the Fair Trading Voluntary Compliance program.

I ask all employees to continuously and strictly practice this Fair Trading Voluntary Compliance program so that AmorePacific's fair and clear management system can be established both internally and externally and thereby it can become a stepping stone for our company to grow into a global company.
